I once saw a review that argued that CFD was the "Mogwai of America." Thoughts? I had never thought of it that way, but I definitely understand where they're coming from.
Oh, and best of luck to GC. I was very sad when the 101 broke up, but I do really love the GC tracks I've heard; even better, I'd say.
